Ask whether calibration is done in house or sublet to a third party, and whether static calibration is performed on a level indoor floor with a proper target. 3. How long is the workmanship warranty?

Ask specifically about the workmanship warranty — coverage against leaks, wind noise and installation defects — and how long it lasts and what it covers. A national chain's answer will emphasize nationwide coverage; a local shop's answer will emphasize that the people who did the work are the people who stand behind it. Both are legitimate; know which one you are getting.
